Gamma Foundries, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, has been renamed Victaulic Custom Casting Co. in the final step of the acquisition of the company by the Victaulic Co., Easton, Pa.

Victaulic, a producer of mechanical pipe joining systems, acquired Gamma Foundries in October 2000 to bring in-house the production of copper-based and aluminum castings. Victaulic also operates ductile iron casting plants in the U.S., Poland and China.  

“The same team…will continue to serve [our customers] at our [facility] in Ontario,” said Kurt Gobreski, general manager of Victaulic Custom Casting.
 
Victaulic Custom Casting operates a variety of molding lines and offers machining capabilities.
