According to the Greenwood Today, the Partnership Alliance of Greenwood, has announced a new metalcasting-related company will be opening in the South Carolina county. Greenwood Casting Services Inc., Ninety-Six, S.C., will have 40,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and is scheduled to be open mid-July. The facility will specialize in the grinding, finishing, inspection and cleaning of gray iron castings. 

The company is expected to create 20-40 jobs for Greenwood County. 

"Anytime you have a company that is bringing new jobs for local people, it's exciting," said Ninety-Six Mayor Arvest Turner. "We are excited about the process that will take place, and we know they will become an integral part of the town of Ninety-Six.
