Blackmer Pump Division, Grand Rapids, Mich., upgraded its shakeout system with cleaning room equipment from Didion International Inc., St. Peters, Mo.

The industrial pump producer performed the installation of an MD-50 Mark 5 Rotary Media Drum over their 2006 Christmas shutdown. The machine combines shakeout, sand conditioning, casting cleaning and cooling.
